n these hectic times, the lives of the Kindred have been burdened with many hardships. Although humans have increased in numbers, this has only made the hunt more difficult since there are eyewitnesses almost anywhere, at any time. The decay of modern civilization has brought on self-inflicted diseases. True, those who have taken drugs are often easy prey, but their blood is weakened from substance abuse and malnutrition, and therefore is nowhere as effective as it used to be.
Then there are the rivalries between local Kindred. Since the disappearance of the former Prince Aleksei the town has gone from bad to worse. One of many, the Justicar has not been seen for some time, and many fear never will be again. There are rumours of the Inquisition starting to raise its ugly head again. And somebody keeps calling up the Ancients to harvest on the already weakened leagues of the Clans.
Because of the aforementioned conditions feeding proves a more difficult task each night. Even the Elders feel it, and many of the young ones face the danger of being driven into frenzy by the Hunger.
he Purple Ribbon Campaign was born when the Hunger was recognized. Several compassionate humans felt the need to do something for their suffering fellow beings, undead or alive. What started with merely a few individuals soon grew into a movement of some strength. New blood is, however, always welcome.

It is open every night of the week. Young boys, former track-and-field athletes and red-headed virgins can report directly at the local Ventrue headquarters. Also, when walking alone on the streets at night, please try to use the quiet, dark alleyways as much as possible. That can be of significant importance in helping the young, more inexperienced and shy Kindred make contact with You.
